Operated by RightRoute Inc., this dedicated facility transforms discarded EV battery separators into high-performance fabrics and yarns through proprietary processes developed entirely in-house.

When Standard Equipment Fails, We Build Our Own

Battery separators are highly specialized materials — thin, layered, and notoriously difficult to process with conventional textile machinery. To work with this material, TEXNIC® didn’t adapt — it invented. Our team designed and built a custom lamination system specifically optimized to convert battery separator film into durable, functional fabrics. This approach allows for controlled adhesion, surface stability, and performance customization far beyond the limits of traditional processes.

To further diversify our material usage, we also developed a micro-slitting system that slices battery separator film into ultrafine strips, enabling its transformation into recyclable technical yarns. This system, also developed in-house, allows TEXNIC® to process the same waste material in multiple ways, opening new possibilities for cross-industry applications. Every step of this workflow was engineered to overcome limitations, not accept them.

Tensile strength, tear resistance, elongation — each roll is validated to meet brand-level performance standards.
